Thomas N Sellers
Du Pont's Washington reresentative who was setting up coalitions with the tobacco industry.
1991 Sep 25: Thomas N Sellers was the Washington Representative for Du Pont's Federal Affairs division. [Note: This is the 3rd year of the Bush I administration]
He has met with Phyllis M McGovern the Legislative Representative of the Tobacco Institute , and they are working together. He has a sister Amy with White House access, and he appears to be offering her services in some sort of coalition deal: I'll get to work on the various ideas we discussed.
As I also mentioned to you, my sister, Amy Sellers , has been cleared by White House personnel and is in the throes of finding a schedule C position within the administration or one of the Departments. To date, she has identified an opening in the following groups at Department of Interior and met with the designated persons: - MMS Public Affairs - Tom DeRocco
- MMS External Affairs - JJ Vigneault
- MMS Legislative Affairs - Pat Reiten
Amy has either met with or knows Linda O'Meara, Ed Cassidy, Jim Hughes and Jim Spagnole at Interior. I have attached a copy of Amy's resume for your review. Any ideas you might have for Amy at Interior would be appreciated.
