• An IAQ Consultant who was an anti-smoking crusader at the time when most other IAQ consultants were locked into receiving regular Tobacco Institute payments. He ran his own business, Hal Levin and Associates at Santa Cruz, California.

The firm serves as eonsultants on indoor environmentai quality both in the design of new buildings and renovations, and as investigators of problem buildings.

  • Levin was the editor of lndoor Air Quality Update
  • the chairman of ASTM Subcommittee D7L05 on Indoor Air, developing standard methods for analysis of indoor air.

    Levin is recognized as one of the country's top experts in design, prevention, and control aspects with respect to indoor air quality.
